A 7" towel clip (Lane style) is a surgical instrument primarily used to secure surgical drapes and towels during procedures to maintain a sterile field. Beyond draping, these clips can also be used for other tasks in a surgical setting, such as grasping tissues or gauze or even in certain orthopedic procedures like reducing bone fractures

Securing drapes and towels:

This is the primary function, keeping surgical drapes in place to maintain a sterile field and ensure a clear operative site.

Managing movement:

They prevent drapes from shifting or slipping during a procedure.

Grasping tissues:

They can be used to grip other materials like gauze or tissues in a surgical setting

Securing drapes:
They hold surgical drapes in place to isolate the surgical site and prevent contamination.

Holding equipment:
They can be used to fix and hold ancillary equipment such as suction tubes, cautery wires, and laparoscopic cables over the sterile draping.
