The lower mole grades (10–15 moles) are typically more lipophilic and suitable for use in oil-based systems, such as water-in-oil emulsions or oilfield chemicals. Higher mole grades (15–20 moles) are more hydrophilic, making them ideal for water-based systems, including detergents, agrochemical emulsions, and industrial cleaning formulations.
