Quilted Taffeta Fabric is a padded woven fabric designed for winter jackets, puffer jackets and insulated outerwear. Available in 100% polyester and nylon taffeta variants, with 200T, 300T and 380T constructions and approximately 160–260 GSM options. Diamond quilting and other padded designs provide a structured outer layer suitable for winter garment production. Depending on the selected construction, the fabric can offer water-resistant, wind-resistant, anti-static, shrink-resistant and tear-resistant properties.

Designed for cold-weather outerwear, this quilted taffeta fabric combines a woven taffeta face with padded construction to create a practical material for winter garment manufacturing. The fabric is available in different quilting patterns and weights, allowing manufacturers to select an appropriate construction for lightweight or heavier padded jackets.
The 160 GSM options are suitable where a lighter padded construction is required, while heavier options around 260 GSM can be used for more substantial winter outerwear. The stated 57–58 inch width also supports efficient garment cutting and production.
The fabric range includes 200T and 300T polyester taffeta, as well as 380T Full Dull Polyester Taffeta options. Nylon taffeta variants are also available according to the selected specification.
These construction choices allow garment manufacturers, sourcing companies and wholesalers to select the appropriate taffeta base according to the required hand feel, appearance, weight and end use. Because specifications vary by construction, composition and design, final performance should be confirmed against the selected fabric variant before bulk production.
